Department Overview Sales support is a pivotal department within Crossflight liaising with all areas of the business from Customer service through to Transport. The main areas of responsibility are to ensure that customers receive a flexible, personal service by providing the management of a selection of accounts, arranging bookings and developing detailed quotations.
Key Tasks

Customer Service

  • Ensuring customers are provided with the highest level of support and personal service.
  • Building relationships with and managing a select number of customers.
  • Resolving customer queries

Provision of Quotations

  • Providing customers with competitive quotations working to tight timescales and ensuring they are followed up and closed.
  • Providing a full outline of services and products on offer to them.
  • Creating bespoke reports as required.

General Administration

  • Arranging collections
  • Raising bookings
  • Completing paperwork for customers
  • Liaise with various internal departments in order to ascertain the best service and cost.
Skills and Experience
  • Industry experience (E)
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal (E)
  • Previous experience in a Customer Service or Sales support environment (D)
  • Computer literature – Word, Excel (E)
  • Good Team Player (E)
  • Flexible in approach to work (E)

Logistics Co-ordinator

Job Title Logistics Co-ordinator
Reports To Logistics Manager
Department Logisitics
Location Colnbrook and off site offices in London as required
Hours 40hrs per week. Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (hours may change as required)
Team Size 8 -15 including off site offices
Organisation Overview Crossflight Ltd is the UK’s leading independent international and UK express courier. We offer worldwide solutions in Courier, Freight, Mail and Logistics.
Department Overview The Logistics department manages the relationship between Crossflight ltd and any Key Accounts. The main areas covered are Customer Service for Key Accounts, Distributions, Event/ Show management and cover of the offsite Mail Rooms.
Key Tasks

General Customer Services duties including

  • Reviewing POD’s (proof of deliveries)
  • Dealing with customer enquiries via the telephone
  • Resolving any misrouted or lost shipments

Processing Distributions

  • Creating waybills for packages
  • Picking and Packing from the warehouse
  • Distributing packages to required destination

Quoting prices using information from an in house system for Distributions and Standard Exports

Working in off site Mail Rooms based in London to cover sickness and holidays. These duties will include:

  • Working different shifts as required
  • Sorting Mail
  • Logging inbound deliveries
  • Delivering mail internally
  • Processing shipments
