Budget Summaries

When we were contacted by a leading firm of accountants to help with their distribution of the Government's budget information, we were happy to be of service.

The brief sounded straight forward enough - collect 8,000 printed Budget Summaries and deliver them by 09.00 the next day throughout the United Kingdom. Many would have found this difficult, but we were confident. But then they added that the booklets would not be off the press until 11.30 p.m. the night before! Impossible for most - but we were able to coordinate the entire project for the accountancy practice and put people in to the printers to supervise the packing, addressing and wrapping of each item. Through an extraordinary display of lateral thinking, we managed to handle each and every delivery for them, earning our client the respect of their clients. Job done.

Engagement Ring

A customer of a major charge card company decided to take his then girl friend to Gleneagles to propose to her. Everything was set up by the chap and the card company, but with one slight omission - he forgot the engagement ring! We were contacted by the card company to collect the ring, worth £6,000, from a London jeweller and get it to Gleneagles within five hours, safely and securely.

Of course, we did the job perfectly. We still wonder, though, whether she ever found out how close they came to disaster!
